Bob Lee hut features a gas cooker, log burner, firewood, and a small range of cooking and cutlery equipment. For those who haven’t been to an alpine hut before, there will be no mains electricity, no running water and a long-drop toilet outside. Solar lighting will keep the hut illuminated at night -- no candles are permitted at the huts due to the potential fire risk.  

Dogs are allowed at Bob and Daisy Lee huts from 2025 with exclusive bookings only. They must be registered at the time of booking or added to your booking by contacting our team. They need to hold a dog overnight pass or dog season pass. 

Winter:

• In winter, you must be checked in at Snow Farm by 12:30pm and have your bags checked in by 1:00pm. Management reserves the right to cancel your booking and provide no refund if you do not meet these terms. 

• To stay at the hut in winter all participants will need valid trail passes. We provide overnight packages for hut guests in winter for trail passes and rentals. The overnight special is from 12:00 pm to 12:00 pm the following day.
  

• Our lessons for hut guests are at 12:30pm and can be booked as part of our overnight experience package. 
  
  

Summer:

• In summer, you will not be met by any of our staff, we will maintain the huts with gas, water and toilet paper, and we expect guests to leave them as they are found, clean and tidy for the next guests.

• We permit 4WD access from December - April (1 vehicle) for exclusive bookings only, with prior permission. There is a $500 fine plus any incurred trail damage for any unauthorised vehicles. 

• During summer, there is no gear transport to and from the huts - you must carry in and carry out everything you take with you, including rubbish. 

All rubbish must be taken out with you. No outdoor fires permitted at any time of the year.

There is cellphone reception at Bob Lee Hut. 

6km from base, Daisy Lee hut is fully equipped with cutlery, plates, pots, pans, mugs and full gas hobs to cook on. We also supply dish-washing detergent, tea towels and an on-site toilet.  No candles are permitted at the huts due to the potential fire risk. Daisy Lee is a smaller, cosy, intimate hut, great as an overflow from Bob Lee (located next door)
